I'm Steve, and my journey with sound has been a lifelong fascination—starting from the early days of banging pots and pans as a toddler to experimenting with my dad’s double tape machine to create raw loops.

Professionally, I've navigated diverse career paths, actively engaging with global brands in sectors that demanded a deep understanding of emerging digital technologies, marketing, and product design. Through these experiences, I've honed my skills as a problem solver, a collaborative team player and an effective communicator.
Parallel to my professional endeavours, I've had the privilege of indulging many creative pursuits. I toured semi-professionally with a band, released 3 albums, organized live events of varying scales, and ran a project studio for a decade. This background not only enriched my understanding of business and networking but also equipped me with a proactive nature that is not afraid to get my hands dirty in a technical problem.

​Currently, I'm merging these two worlds within game development—a field that's not just technologically advanced but also incredibly immersive. To formalize my extensive experience, I've recently graduated as a postgraduate in game audio with Thinkspace Edu. My ongoing goal is to contribute to teams and projects by leveraging my diverse skill set.

My passion for game audio extends beyond the professional realm. In my spare time, I host Liverpool Game Audio, a social event uniting like-minded individuals with a shared love for game audio. It serves as a platform for networking and connecting with industry professionals across the city.
I'm also an active member of various online gaming audio communities, where I both seek feedback and share my experiences with budding sound designers. As a mental health first aider with Safe in Our World, I'm committed to fostering a supportive and understanding environment within the gaming community.​
